Step 4:
Regular Checks on Compliance
We provide clients with a number of online tools to assist with regular checks on compliance by their internal business units or supply chain partners, including:
CoRsafe Register Self-Audit
Clients nominate a person from each internal business unit and supply chain partner to complete three online stages to confirm that they understand and comply with their CoR duties. This includes a Stage 3, online self-audit of compliance with the CoRsafe Guide. Nominated parties complete the self-audit online and are provided with a compliance score demonstrating how completely they have implemented the CoRsafe Guide framework. They can then download a Gap Report. Once gaps are addressed they can log back in to update their score until they achieve the end-goal of confirming 100% implementation compliance.
Over 3,000 entities are registered with the CoRsafe System. Clients that nominate any of these parties as part of their supply chain gain access to their implementation self-audit compliance status.
CoRsafe On-Site Audits
Our specialised team of CoR auditors regularly conduct on-site CoR audits of client internal business units or their supply chain partners, to assess implementation of the LSS CoRsafe Guide framework.
The on-site CoRsafe audit includes:
use of the CoRsafe audit checklist
preparation of the audit with the party to be audited (including a pre-audit self-assessment by the audited party)
pre-audit communication with the audited party
conducting the audit
a de-brief at the end of the audit
the issue of a draft audit report within 7 days of the audit
within 7 days later, the issue of the final audit report
on-going communication with the audited party to respond to any corrective actions implemented to remove gaps, until the end-goal of a 100% score is achieved
CoRsafe Inspector App
A key CoR duty is that any loading / unloading site will conduct regular checks on the compliance of inbound and outbound loads, drivers and transport equipment.
The CoRsafe Inspector App replaces inefficient paper-based inspection checklists with a web-app enabling on-site personnel to easily and efficiently conduct and record site CoR compliance inspections, driver declarations and “watching brief” incidents via any mobile device with internet connection.
With the CoRsafe Inspector App:
on-site personnel can record driver declarations and/or load compliance inspections
photos can be taken and uploaded
driver screen signatures can be recorded
all data is ‘live’ and accessible 24/7 to management for review and management reporting
incidents can be immediately escalated internally to nominated supervisors or managers for investigation and follow-up
Inspection checklists can be based on a CoRsafe template or modified to suit client site requirements (e.g. to add OHS or product integrity items)
Clients have access to a management reporting system detailing inspections and their status
CoRsafe Incident Management System (IMS)
Another key CoR duty is that incidents that do or could impact on CoR compliance are logged, investigated and closed off via approved corrective actions. And this system needs to be accessible not only by clients internally but also by their supply chain partners.
We have developed the web-based CoRsafe Incident Management System (IMS), which:
enables any client or supply chain partner to create or close off an incident/non-conformance report
enables the report creator to nominate who should receive and respond to the incident report
requires the nominated party to issue proposed corrective action(s) to the report creator, who can either accept or reject the corrective action(s)
issues reminders if incident reports remain open
provides client management with management reporting on each incident and their status
